"It Is Not Your Money"

Saw this at Save The GOP:



I'm sorry. Any public official, elected or otherwise, who explicitly states that tax dollars are not our (the taxpayers') money should be removed from office, no questions asked.

That alone should be sufficient grounds for a recall at the very least.

I don't care that Congressman Joe Knollenberg lost re-election this year. He should be stripped of his pension and any other benefits he receives as a current (and soon-to-be former) federal legislator. As far as I'm concerned, it's not his money.
